POKOTABI / Le Cafe Serendipity
ル・カフェ・セレンディピティ
Open only on Thursdays in a Kami-Igusa house in Suginami Ward, Le Cafe Serendipity offers an unhurried setting, from daytime coffee and seasonal sweets to evening whiskies and bites.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Set on the 1st floor of a detached house in a residential pocket between Iogi and Kami-Igusa stations on the Seibu Shinjuku Line, Le Cafe Serendipity welcomes guests on a quiet schedule: just once a week, on Thursdays from 12:30 to 20:00.
During afternoon cafe hours, guests can unwind over coffee served in distinctive cups and seasonal desserts. The white-toned interior features counter seating facing the window alongside well-spaced tables and sofas, offering a calm environment for those who want a quiet moment over tea on their own.
After 17:00 in the evening, the mood shifts toward drinks by the glass. The selection includes Heineken, full-bodied German weissbier, red and white wines, and whiskies such as Scotch and bourbon. Pairing these with light bites like cheese, mixed nuts, or small plates of homemade side dishes while listening to vinyl records makes for an easygoing evening of conversation or solitary sipping.
